Day 4- “Is it Tiger Print?”

First and only wear so far was just for this experiment. I have NO IDEA why I bought these, crowd-pleasing favorites. It was probably around 2010 maybe even the same company as the red ones and the green ones but WHY did I need them?  The comfort rating of 3 probably isn’t why. I am not big on animal prints (Ok a little zebra here and there) but everyone thinks I should be. I’m not totally opposed... just don't normally choose it. I don't have good accessories to pull brown and black together. I don't do much gold/brass or whatever those buckles are supposed to be...anyway I like them well enough and there is a bit of black on them so they can stay, but maybe I should start a running cost total of the shoes I find up there that confuse me.

Day 3- "The 1970’s Revisited"

Not quite as high or funky as the old goldfish shoes (not that I would do that to a goldfish) but still totally funky 70's remakes. I saw them on sale one night at Macy's (Circa 2000 something) and guess what... had to have them! That night I left without them, went home, suffered over night and in the long run wasted the 5 dollars in gas to go back for them. They had already been packed up to send to an outlet store or perhaps the dump. Some nice sales guy dug them back out for me. Yay!
A "70's glam shoes" search on Google images should produce a picture of some grand relative of these shoes.
I am not sure how many times they have been worn but only a few, they get a comfort rating of 6 and I am totally wearing them again! Admittedly prancing through Kennet Square, PA in these boots inspires people to look at me a little funny but those people must simply not understand!

Day 2- “Is There A Rest of That Costume

I think after the red shoes back in 2010 I kept going back to the same web sites and in the true spirit of insanity I expected different results. Need I say more?
On day 2 of the experiment I passed my husband in the hall as I got ready for work and he asked me if I would be able to find another pair of shoes.
...uh oh...
Find another pair? Have you been in the attic? I asked
The response was "No"
"Uh... yes, well don't go up there.... EVER!" is all I had to say to that.
A bit later when I came down the stairs in the day 2 shoes he promptly asked "Is there a rest of that costume or are you killing roaches today?". Since then they have been called rigid and someone sent me a link to green giant peas in response to a photo of them. I say at least they are not boring!
In my defense I bought them to go with a shirt...of course by the time I got the shoes I had misplaced the outdated shirt, that did not fit anymore and was (I believe) a different shade of "ugly green" than these shoes, still I swear there is logic in that somewhere.
They had never been worn and again a comfort rating of 4 (and ended up stuffed with paper towels). I'm not sure how I feel about them but I am willing to wear them again so they stay.
